About 1,100 miles from Miami, and east of South Carolina , lies Bermuda, a subtropical island that boasts one of the highest per capital incomes in the world. It has successfully exploited its strategic position by providing financial services for multinational companies and luxury tourist facilities for more than 360,000 visitors annually.
